~Kaleigh~

As Kaleigh was due to come into this world on Sept. 16th (yes several days ago) and came to meet us on Sept. 24th so the following are her 1 year updates:

Kaleigh is a proficient walker! She even runs around. She says Hello-and always talks on the phone whether that phone is a washcloth, a ball, a sippy cup...you name it. She has a whole conversation, it usually goes something like this: "Hello? Dada dada? yup, yup, yup, bye bye! Sometimes there is a Mama, but it is usually Daddy that she talks on the phone to, so I suspect that is where that "Dada" is coming from. Kaleigh is also saying "please" which sounds a lot like "peas". She climbs up everything, even if it means stepping on someones head to get up higher. She is eating more and more table food, and as always, she loves everything! She has a cold right now, but it's not slowing her down one bit. She knows where her ears and hair are, and sometimes she'll show you her eyes. She is also asking what everything is..."what's that?" she says while pointing her little finger, "what's that?" She will nod her head "yes" and shake her head "no", she likes to clap for anyone who does a good job, and she will rub in lotion when Mommy does. She pretty much likes to copy everything that we do, she is a good and quick learner! (Thomas and Mae love that they can tell her do do all of her little tricks, I guess she's the next best think to a pet...or maybe better!) There is so much more to add, but I'll leave it here for now! Almost... HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALEIGH!!
