Kaleigh is 4 years old now! What a fast 4 years they have been too! Kaleigh is such a smart, funny sweet little girl. She dresses herself MOST of the time...including picking out her clothes. Which is usually fine. ;) Kaleigh bug loves to dance, swim, swing, run, ride her scooter, sing, play with her bothers. She loves fish and well, all animals. Kaleigh knows all her letters and letter sounds. She loves to practice writing and lately she has started sounding out words. Kaleigh enjoys shoes, princess anything, helping with her baby brother...and well any baby really. Kaleigh is memorizing Bible verses, and learns them very fast! She loves to do her weather board everyday. She went to the dentist and is getting ready for her first real full cleaning very soon. Kaleigh's favorite foods are chicken, salad, apples, ovaltine, and green beans. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. Her most loved item is "purple blanket" which my Aunt Sandy made. Kaleigh makes her bed everyday, cleans her room, cleans the microwave, unloads silverware and "kid dishes" from the dishwasher. Kaleigh uses the dirt devil, helps with the washing, drying and folding of laundry. Kaleigh is 49.6 pounds which is 97%. She stands 46 1/4inches tall, which for a 4 year old girl takes her off the chart. Kaleigh is outgoing, and shy. She makes a new friend everywhere she goes. Kaleigh is a quaility time girl. She'd be totally happy to go with me and be with me everywhere (it's a good thing I have the same love language!) Kaleigh is also a very loving girl. Lots of hugs, snuggles, hand holding and lap sitting for her! If you want to know how to get to Kaleigh-just speak those 2 languages. Kaleigh (like any other child) also cares about the other 3, but these are the big 2! Kaleigh is a Mommy's girl, but boy oh boy does she love her Daddy time. She will talk about their Kaleigh/Daddy dates for months to come. She thinks Daddy is a super hero. He always comes to her rescue. Kaleigh has been asking a lot of questions about God. She asks some pretty big questions for such a little girl. Kaleigh is a wonderful blessing in our lives and Andy and I could not ask for a better daughter that her! WE LOVE YOU KALEIGH!
Lucas...oh our little Lucas. He is so sweet, and funny and patient. Lucas is a such a picture of baby Kaleigh it's a little bit scary. He look so much like his big sister. He has a similar personality also. Lucas is always smiling, and laughing at Kaleigh and Emmett. Lucas loves to dance and sing. He loves to go for a walk, crawl everywhere and just started letting go and standing. He loves to crawl down the hall into Kaleigh or Emmett's room. His Mommy loves to hold him for at least one nap a day...and it's a good thing too, because this little boy is growing SO FAST! At his 9 month appointment (which he was 9 1/2 months old for) his head was 18-which is 70% (so not as big as Emmett's pretty head) and he weighed 20.11 pounds which believe it or not is the 50%. Lucas (born 22 1/2 inches long) is now over 30inches long, which is 95% for a boy his age. He has had 3 haircuts now, and is getting close to needing another trim. He sits so well for them too! Lucas loves to climb over anything and to play with balls, cars, trucks, tractors. He likes to play with his big brother and big sister, and I think if her was given the choice he'd always be right in the middle of their craziness (not that they are ever crazy). We couldn't ask for a better #3. He fit right in with our family the day he was born, and each day is even better because Lucas is in our lives. Lukey is has 2 bottom teeth and is working on a top tooth which I expect to come through and day. I also can see the top of molars in the back of his little baby mouth. He says Mama, and Dada, and all kinds of other sounds, grunts and what not. Lucas waves hello and good bye, he claps when he is proud, excited or hears anyone say "YAY!". He is a watcher... He dances to all songs (which is a lot in a day, because his mother makes up a lot of songs during the day. He drinks from a sippy up, and likes to feed himself. He is not a fan of baby food, but we try to get some in him. Lucas is so big, just ask him. He should eat table food, and use the spoon and fork himself. Lucas loves to pull off his socks (Mommy's fault for not putting anything on his feet all summer long). Lukey's favorite foods include multi gran cheerios, apples, squash, green beans (the real thing, not baby food) carrots, and bananas. Lucas is so smart for such a little guy, He, again just like his sister, is a visual learner...so be careful what you let him see! Lucas is a gift and we are to thankful for him! WE LOVE YOU LUCAS!
And Big E...well Emmett didn't have a Dr. appointment, so I don't have his stats for you, but Emmett has had a lot going on in his life too. Emmett knows his colors, days of the week, he is working on his ABC's and the sounds that the letters make. Emmett enjoys a good Toy Story movie. He loves to climb, hang upside down, jump off of anything, run, spin. He also has a thing for breaking things...I am really starting to wonder what he is going to be when he grows up. Emmett loves to swim, read books, ride his sister's pink tricycle. He LOVES animals. You will often find him holding several cows, or dinosaurs. Emmett is a lover and a fighter. He makes friends easy, but doesn't really care if he is playing with others or all by himself. Emmett has been known to put himself to bed. He loves music, singing, and banging on anything. Emmett is the first one up in the morning. Emmett decided a few weeks ago that he was done wearing diapers and potty training is going great! He goes potty all by himself! Emmett's favorite foods are salad, cheese grr grr's (burger), apples, and CHEESE. He is not a big "sweets" guy, so unlike the rest of us, he will pass on the desert. Emmett (as well as the other 2) LOVE ice water for some reason. It is the drink of choice. They are all known for passing on something different to have some water. Emmett loves to pray. We are planning on putting him in a gymnastics class very soon...to teach him the right was to tumble, fall, and jump. Perhaps channel some of his energy. Emmett is so fun, always ready for a good time. He is always going! Right up until he drops. He is getting 2 molars on the bottom right now. He is FINALLY growing out of 24 months. He wears a 2T most of the time, but is starting to pull off a 3T shirt. He is growing out of his size 7. Emmett is a total "Daddy's boy". Daddy can make those bad dreams go away with just 1 visit, where it takes Mommy 5+ times to make it all better. Emmett enjoys his foot ball too. He went to Evan's foot ball game this past weekend, and he had a blast. Emmett (and Kaleigh) have a couple hundred signs...now if Mommy could just remember to use them daily! Emmett is a very busy, quite wild little guy. Don't let that fool you though. He gives the best, tightest hugs. He is such a cuddle! Emmett Loves to sit right on or next to you the second you sit down. He gives the sweetest kisses and always says "I love you". Emmett may be little, but he is very strong! Emmett is a physical touch and words of affirmation guy if I every met one! Emmett makes our lives an adventure and we are so blessed to have our "Big E"! WE LOVE YOU EMMETT!
